What this site is

This is a free, informational website. It does two things:

• It aggregates public information about U.S. funding sources for startups and small businesses — SBIR/STTR and other federal programs, private capital, and the industry events where founders meet funders — and points you to each official source.
• It explains engineering simulation: what it's used for, which Ansys® tools map to which engineering problems, and the paths that exist for early-stage teams to access simulation software, including evaluation licenses and the Ansys Startup Program.

The site is operated in connection with an independent, authorized Ansys channel-partner sales organization. If you contact us, that's who you'll be talking to: people whose day job is getting simulation software and engineering support into companies' hands.

What this site is not

• It is not an offer, promise, or guarantee of anything. No free software, licenses, evaluations, discounts, support, funding, or outcomes are promised or owed to any visitor, and nothing on this site creates any obligation for us, for Ansys, Inc., or for any Ansys channel partner.
• Evaluation licenses and the Ansys Startup Program are Ansys programs, not ours. They exist independently of this site, are described on ansys.com, and are granted — or not — by Ansys and its authorized channel partners at their sole discretion, subject to their own eligibility rules, terms, approval processes, and export-compliance screening. We help you understand and request these programs; we do not control the outcome.
• You are free to work with anyone. Ansys sells through a network of authorized channel partners. You can contact Ansys directly, or work with any authorized channel partner you choose, at any time. Using this site places you under no obligation whatsoever.
• We do not provide grant, legal, financial, or application advice. We do not prepare, write, review, or advise on SBIR/STTR, grant, or contract applications, and we make no representation about anyone's chances of winning funding.
• We are not affiliated with anyone named here unless expressly stated: not Ansys, Inc. Program amounts, deadlines, eligibility rules, and event dates are summarized from public sources for convenience and change constantly. They may be outdated or wrong by the time you read them.
